BORNHOLM: SHOWING THE WAY - WITHOUT WASTE BY 2032
By virtue of its size, green visions and geographical location, the island and community of Bornholm can become a tangible and credible example of how to manage the transition of a modern society from a linear to a circular economy. This can be done through the conversion of the waste management and through a close interaction with citizens and businesses.
Nonetheless, Bornholm aims to put emphasis on the implementation on cradle to cradle projects. The goal is to create an optimal framework for international development, demonstrations and tests of new green technologies.
